Our Story
Twickenham Fest began in the summer of 2010 when Huntsville natives Susanna Phillips and Matt McDonald decided to come together to give back to the community that had given them so much. In their Huntsville childhoods, Susanna and Matt were encouraged and supported in pursuit of their dreams of becoming professional musicians. Now that they are both living that childhood dream, Susanna and Matt are working hard to put on a summer chamber music festival showcasing a whole new level of musical performance.
Our Musicians
Twickenham Fest's Performers are a group of young musicians with goals similar to Matt and Susanna's: to make the best music with the best musicians. Performers at Twickenham Fest represent institutions and ensembles such as the Metropolitan Opera, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the St. Louis Symphony, the Atlanta Symphony, the Louisiana Philharmonic, the Cleveland institute of Music, the New World Symphony, and the Curtis Institute of Music.
Our Concerts
Twickenham Fest's three free concerts will be held at the Huntsville Museum of Art and at Temple B'nai Sholom, while an educational open rehearsal will be held at Randolph School.
